Cancellation & Payment Policy
At “Crazy for Cupcakes”, every order is handmade with love and care. Each cake, cupcake, baked goods and decorations are custom created just for you, which means time, ingredients, and creativity are dedicated to every booking.
To keep things fair for both our customers and our small business, please take a moment to read our cancellation and payment terms below.
Deposit & Payment
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your order.
The remaining 50% balance is due on pickup (or prior to delivery, if arranged).
Orders are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Cancellations 7 Days or More Before Pickup
If you cancel your order 7 or more days before the scheduled pickup date, we’re happy to refund the full amount paid, minus any costs already incurred for decorations, toppers, or special-order ingredients purchased specifically for your order.
Cancellations Within 7 Days but More Than 48 Hours Before Pickup
If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before pickup:
Your 50% deposit will be transferred as a credit towards a future order.
If the remaining balance has already been paid, that portion will be refunded.
Cancellations Within 48 Hours of Pickup (or No-Shows)
If you cancel your order within 48 hours of pickup, or fail to collect your order at the agreed time:
Your 50% deposit will be forfeited and will not be refunded or transferred as a credit.
If the remaining 50% balance has already been paid, that portion will be refunded.
Order Changes
We’re happy to accommodate small changes (such as colours, designs, or quantities) where possible, provided at least 7 days’ notice is given.
Changes requested within 7 days may not be possible and could incur additional costs.
